I’m Just Selling

James 1:22-25

This Sunday November 27th is the 8th sermon in the series, “Why I Am A Christian.” The title is, “I’m Just Selling.”

The topic can be summarized in the following sentences: “I am a Christian because someone taught the Gospel, and I heard it. And, I am a Christian because I feel like I need to do something for others.”

Blessings,

A Sum Bigger Than Its Parts

Psalm 139:7-18

This Sunday’s sermon begins with a quote from G. K. Chesterson: “It is often supposed that when people stop believing in God, they believe in nothing. Alas, it is worse than that. When they stop believing in God, they [will] believe anything.”

I look forward to worshiping with you this coming Sunday as we explore the incomprehensible “bigness” of God.

Blessings,

Pastor Michael

Stonehenge, Hinayana, and Hosea

Ephesians 2:4-10

This Sunday’s sermon will be the second sermon in the series, “Why I Am a Christian.”

The theme is that God first comes searching for us.

It is what John Wesley called, “Prevenient Grace.”

I look forward to seeing all on Sunday.

Blessings,

Pastor Michael

The Andrew Factor

John 1:37-41

This Sunday’s sermon will be the first in a series of sermons on “Why I Am a Christian.”

The focus of the sermon will focus on the first reason I am a Christian: someone introduced Christ to me.

I look forward to being with you this coming Sunday. As Paul once said, “I am thankful for our partnership in the Gospel.”

Blessings,

Pastor Michael
