This Sunday March 1st is Second Sunday in Lent. The sermon title for Kedron is Resting in Grace. Our guest preacher is Gary Smith.
In the United Methodist Church, the “Second Sunday of Lent” signifies the Sunday during the Lenten season where the focus is on the biblical story of Jesus’ Transfiguration, typically read from the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, or Luke, highlighting Jesus’ divine glory and serving as a glimpse of his future resurrection.
This Sunday February 15th is Transfiguration Sunday. The sermon title for Kedron is Living in the Shadow of Death. The scriptures are from the 23rd Psalm.
This Sunday we celebrate the revelation of God in Jesus Christ and Christ’s manifestation as the fulfillment of the law and the prophets.
This Sunday February 8th is the Fifth Sunday after the Epiphany. The sermon title for Kedron is The Dash Between the Dates. I may have used that title before, but this will be an entirely new sermon.
Jesus said let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
We need to embrace what comes our way as an opportunity… rather than a personal inconvenience.
