Sunday July 26th the Ninth Sunday after Pentecost the sermon title is Who is Brenda Flicker? The scripture is Luke 14:7-11.
The theme of the sermon is the value of all humans, especially those who seem to have less status in the eyes of the world.
Jesus had several things to say about that.
Looking forward to seeing all at worship this Sunday.
Blessings to all.

Sunday July 19th the Eighth Sunday after Pentecost the sermon title is Rabbit Foot Religion. The scripture is James 1:26-27.
The sermon theme was suggested to me by a commentary I read recently.
The scripture is James 1:26-27 (although the sermon will also refer to James 1:22ff).
True faith requires action. Listening without doing yields no lasting change.
Looking forward to seeing all at worship this Sunday.
Blessings to all.

Sunday July 12th the Seventh Sunday after Pentecost the sermon title is Theological Reflection on Johnny Appleseed. The scripture is Matthew 14:25-30.
In Matthew 14, Peter walks on water because of his faith and trust in Jesus.
When he became overwhelmed with fear he began to sink.
Jesus rescued him and said, “you have so little faith, why did you doubt Me?”
This serves as a lesson on trusting God in the face of life’s overwhelming challenges.
Looking forward to seeing all at worship this Sunday.
Blessings to all.
