This Sunday November 27th is the 8th sermon in the series, “Why I Am A Christian.” The title is, “I’m Just Selling.”
The topic can be summarized in the following sentences: “I am a Christian because someone taught the Gospel, and I heard it. And, I am a Christian because I feel like I need to do something for others.”
This Sunday’s sermon begins with a quote from G. K. Chesterson: “It is often supposed that when people stop believing in God, they believe in nothing. Alas, it is worse than that. When they stop believing in God, they [will] believe anything.”
I look forward to worshiping with you this coming Sunday as we explore the incomprehensible “bigness” of God.
On October 9th, Nineteenth Sunday after Pentecost, the message title is Widows, Orphans, Strangers and will be delivered by Larry Fraley. The scripture is 1 Kings 17:8-24.
