It is an important, but greatly mysterious belief in mainline Christianity, born out of deep theological controversy in the 4th Century A.D.
It is an amazing story, resulting from miraculous event in the life of a Roman Emperor; and it involves one of the most universal of all Christian symbols: the Greek chi (ch), with a Greek rho (r) superimposed.
